IN pursuance of an Act of the General Assembly of this

Island made and passed in the Eleventh year of the reign of Her Majesty. Queen Victoria, intituled “ An Act tor levying further an Assessment on all Lands in this Colony, and for the encouragement of Education;" and also an Act in amendment of the said Act. intituled “An Act to explain and amend the present Act for the Assessment of Land, and the encouragement of Education ;” and also of an Act made and passed in the twenty-fourth year of the said reign, intituled, " An Act to raise funds for the pur- poses of Education by imposing an additional Assessment on Land in this Island, and on real Estate in Charlotte- town and Common and Georgetown and Common,” Ido hereby give public notice that 1 have made proclamation according to the terms of the said Acts, of all the under- mentioaed Town Lots, Water Lots. Common Lots, Pasture Lots, Islands. Townships, or parts of Townships, in this island, in arrear for the non-payment of the several sums due and owing thereon to Her Majesty, under and by vit- tue of the above-mentioned Acts, viz :~——

And the owners of the aforesaid Lots, parts of Lots and tracts of Lands so in urrear and proclaimed as aforesaid,are hereby notified that in case the sums charged on them as aforesaid,together with the costs which have been incurred, shall not be paid before the next Easter Term ofthe Supreme Court, which will commence on Tuesday, the second day of May next, application will be made to the Supreme Court during the said Term for Judgment against the said Lots or tracts of Land respectively. ‘

of the land through which it is intended to open a Road along the Boundary line of Townships Nos. 23 and 231. of said Connnission, by attending,r on said Line, on WEDNESDA 1', the nth day of MARCH next, at the hour of 11 o’clock, in the Complete the said commission, in terms of the Act of 11th \'ie., Cap. 1.
