The Malpeque Driving Club held their third meet oi .the season on the Baltic River ice 0n ‘Thursday. 23rd. The weather ibelng she a large crowd attended which shows the in- terest the citizens oi the vicinity are taking in the sport oi kings. Al- though the track was heavy. very fast time was made, there being three classes viz: A, B and C. ‘ The club intends to hold a big dree-ior-all with e. prize very tempt- ing in the owners oi’ the iast ones in the very near iutlue and race tans should watch the papers ior the dates.

In class A, three horses answered the starters bell, namely Bud Doble Billy Kail and Princess Etta. Bud Ddble has recently been purchased by Mr. Joseph Sheen oi Kcnslngton. Billy Kali. by Ira Champion, and Princess Etta by E. McKelvie. In the first heat Bud Doble won by a

Class B, had three starters. name- ly Pansy _B., Captain Jack and Little Peter, Captain Jack won easily in straight heats with Pansy 15., and Little Peter proving dangerous at all times.

Class C. had iour starters, name- ly Mary R... Bob Mac, Ruby C., and Longset Lady. The ilrst heat was captured by Bob Mac. in fine style and the next two by Mary B... Ruby 0., third. and Longset Lady fourth.
