Fellow Students,

On behalf of University Of Prince Edward Island’s Student Union a welcome to all new and returning students. I hope everyone was able to enjoy at least part of the summer before hitting the books this fall:

This past summer I have been busy preparing, reviewing, and implementing programming and service initiatives for the coming year. I feel this year has great potential for campus spirit and involvement, however we need you to make it happen.

UPEISU is for student. There are many ways in which you can get involved and bea part of campus life. Student organizationssuchasCIMNradio | station, the Student newspaper, various committees, part-time jobs, or student politics are some of the areas that you could get involved.

Our role as Students’ Council is representing you, the student. If you have any problems orconcern throughout the year, please let me know or any of the Council members.

Hope to meet you during Orientation Week, at the panther lounge, or when you drop down to the Barn, where our offices are located, for a chat. , Have a good one!
