Ontario. July 12th in Nth. Scholarships to the value of 51,700 will be awarded the win- tiers of the final competition.

All contestants were required to drive through a difficult course set-up at the Charlottetown Air- port. A written examination to test the- contestants knowledge of traffic laws was conducted prior to the physical test.

Teen Age Road-E-0 is sponsored nationally by the All - Canada insurance Federation and Imper- ial Oil Limited. Local , I are the Charlottetown Junior Board of Trade supported by the automo- bile d .' The purpose of the Road-E-O is to encourage young drivers to learn and observe good driving practices. at an early age so that they will become better adult dri- vers. It is hoped that by improving the driving standards over the years, the high accident rate will be reduced.

Official judges were Cpl. Ray Stunden of the R.C.M.P.. Sgt. A. Dowling of the Charlottetown City Police. Mr. Keith MacKinnon. Mr. Raymond MacDonald. Constable Peter Austin of the R.C.M.P. and Mr. P. B. Barlow of the provincial Motor Vehicle branch also assisted.
