The executive of the Musical Festival Association held n meeting Thursday evening, Nov. 6th. at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Preston Beck, Mt. Edward Road. The Pres. Mr. Barry Bugden presided. M.r. Edwin Cook, secretary read the minutes of previous meeting which were duly adopted. - ’

Mrs. Hudson. Parkdale. Treasur- er, gave a financial report.

Mrs. M. F. Rodd, Parkdale. rei ported for music committee that 975 copies of test music have been ordered and will be handled by music committee.

Mrs. J. A. Rodd. Milton, report- ed that syllabus would be receiv- ed from printers within the next few days.

Mrs. Fred Gates, West Royalty reported that Prince of Wales‘ Col- lege will be available again this year for Festival May 3-7 with concert on May 7th.

Mr. Malcolm MacKenzie report- ecl for the Refresher Course com- mlttee.

His committee have contacted and interviewed several musical instructors and the refresher course will be commenced as soon as ap- plications are received and a satis- factory time can be decided.

Mrs. Archibald has been Secretary of the Association during the past two years and it is largely due to

In the course of his remarks the speaker appealed for the sup- port by Trinity men of Pine l-llll and its fine young manhood who nre enlisted in the Christ. "If a man is a Man, he must. be interested in more than mere dollars and cents," said Mr. Nicholson. "What an opportunity we have-those of us who are: able-—an opportunity of helping some young man go forward tn Pine Hill theology." The costs of going to College are greatly in- creasing, said the speaker, and many a young -man in hard fln-' ancial straits, would be greailyi blessed by a kindly helping hand.
