A laborer named Joseph Brogan killed his wife and two children, aged five and seven years, arid then committed suicide with a dull razor. Brogan drank heavily, and had a heated quar- rel with his wife. She protested because he spent all his earnings for whiskey. He was 35 years old, and had wealthy parents liviag in the East.
