Our own egg rais- ers ought to have this money. The de- mand for fresh eggs fur fuod alone far ex- ceeds the supply. At fifty cents per dozen eggs are as cheap as beefsteak for food. Many persons who keep hens will probably not have an egg to sell when they reach fifty cents. Someone may ask, “What can a body do when the pesky old hens stop laying, and the pullets refuse to begin until spring?” Why! do as Wm. H.
