Concert at Pisquid Road. A grand literary and musical éntertaiament was Leld in Pisquid Road schoolhouse op Wednesday evening, the 28th ult. The meet ing was called to order at 7.30, and the pros gramme opened by a few well chosen remarks trom Hen. J. G. Scrimgeour, who kind!y consented to act as chairman. The pro gramme, consisting of vocal and instrumenta! music, recitations, dialogues, &c., was ail that could be deeired. When all did so well, it would be unfair to particularize, although the s'ump ‘per by Willie McLeod, the reci- tation by Mr. McKay and the whistling by Master Thos. Cameron deserve special mention, Miss Lily A. Cameron presided at the organ with her usual ability, and the success Uf the meeting was also largely due to the untiring efforts of the teacher, Mr. R.
