HEREAS ,upon reading the Petition of Thomas Dawson, V Esquire, and the Honorable Joseph Hensley, Executor-s of the last Will and Testament of the said deceased filed this day, setting forth that the personal property of the said deceased, was insullicicnt to pay oil the debts due by the said Estate, and praying that liccnsc may be granted to them to sell the Real Estate of the said deceased, for the payment of the said .debts; and also upon reading eertilied Copies of the said last Will and Testament, and of the Inventory of the Real and Personal Estate of the said de- dceeased—both on tile—and annexed to the said Petition ; now therefore, I do hereby order that the parties interested in the said Estate, d; appear before me, in the Court House, of the Colonial Building, in Charlottetown aforesaid, on Tnnusnar, the Twenty- .sixth day of .lANl'AllY, A. l). 1805, at noon, of the same day, to shew cause, if any they can. why the prayer of the said Petition should not be granted; and I do hereby turther order that a true copy of this order be published in the Boyd] Gazrtle newspaper of tliesiirl Island, for at least three Consecutive weeks from the date hereof, so that all parties interested in the said hstate may have notice thereof. ‘ IIEREAS by a Resolution of the House of Assembly, passed ’ on the 14th day of April, 1863, it was resolved that the Initiation of all Money votes should be with the Executive.

Notice is hereby given that all applications for MONEY GRANTS for Roads, Bridges, Wharfs, &c., and all Petitions tor grants in aid of any object whatsoever which parties may desire to submit to the Legislature at its next annual Session, are required to be sent into this office on or before the First day of February, 1865. E118 Excellency the Lieutenant Governor, in Council, was this day pleased to fix and determine the rate at which the amount of the invoice of dutiable Goods imported into this Island from the United States of America, shall, in estimating the duties payable thereon, be reduced into current money of this Island, as follows :

In all cases where such Invoices shall be madd out in Dollars and Cents of the paper currency of the United States, the amount of such invoice shall be reduced into current money of this Island by al- lowing for each Dollar the sum of Three shillings and three pence, and in tlielike proportion for any fraction of a Dollar,——of which all Collectors of Impost are to take notice, and govern themselves accordingly.
