[ transmit to you herewith a copy of a Letter from the Foreign ()liice, with :1 Circular Order which has been issued by the Lords Commissioners of the Admiralty to Her Majesty's Ships, and the Naval establishments at home and abroad, desiring.r them to recognise the new Flags which have been established. by His Majesty the Kingr of Prussia for Ships of War and Merchant Vessels of the North German Confederation.

I have to instruct you that these Fl:th are to be recognised accordingly in the Colony under your Government, and to receive the same consideration and immunities that have hitherto been enjoyed by the Flags of Prussia. and the Federal States.

M. Ships, and that they receive in every way the some consideration

and immunities that have hitherto been enjoyed by the Flags of
