GEORGETOWN — A lar docket faced Kings County Magistrate James B. Johnston. QC. at Georgetown yesterday. The Crown was represented by Deputy Attorney General J. Arthur MacGuigan. QC.

1 William Collinga of Sturgeon. charged with impair- ed driving and represented by Lester O‘Donnell. was found guilty and fined $100 and costs following the evidence of Cat. Miles E. Foster and Cat. Ken- neth Lynn of the Montague De- tachment RCMP.

Joseph Gladstone Vuozzo of Vaileyfield changed an earlier plea of not guilty to guilty on a charge of causing a disturbance by using obscene and insulting language and was fined :20 and costs.

Gerald Archibald MacLean of Murray River. represented by Vernon J. Fraser of South. was given a twooyear suspend- ed sentence on a charge of breaking and entering the home of Reginald Johnston, Murray River, with intent. He was or- dered to post a bond of $2,000 with two suroties of $1.000 each. He was remanded to custody pending the receipt of the bond and was ordered to" report once a month to the RCMP as well as keep the peace for the term of his sentence and to abstain from alcohol.

STIFFER PENALTIES

Two persons were each fined $20 and costs for possession of liquor, and one other was fin $20 and costs for intoxication.

Joseph Clarence Condon. Mur- ray Harbor, pleaded guilty to three charges of possessing undersize lobsters. He was fined $15, $20 and $25 on the separate charges.

The magistrate issued strong warning that possession of undersize lobsters and her- ried lobsters was becoming too common in Kings County and that offenders could expect stif- fer penalties.
