Molinas. a rookie star for the Fort Wayne Pistons, was sus- pended by the NBA Jan. )0 for betting on his own team in 10 games.
County Court judge Samuel Joseph. sitting temporarily as a state Supreme Court justice, handed down the ruling.

Death Yesterday A Of Former Glen Martin lady
..'l-ler many friends learned with regret of the sudden death oi Mrs. Murdock Macxinnon at the home of her daughter. Mrs. B. C. Mac- Lure. Montague early yesterday morning. she was in her 87th year. The deceased. nee Sarah Mac- Donald. was born at Pictou Island, daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Malcolm MacDonald. she was the last surviving member oi as family of nine children.
She resided at Glen Martin un- til moving to Montague ten years ago. She is survived by five datigh- ters, Christine, Mrs. Alex Blue, Hopefleld; Cassie. Mrs. J. A. Rey- nolds. Ottawa; Margaret. Mrs. Wil- lard Jenkins. Pownal; Mamie. Mrs B.C. MacLure, Montague; and Sadie in Ottawa. A nephew. Donald Mac- Kinrion, Quincy. Mass. was brought up at the home of Mr. and Mrs. MacKinnon. A son John_ died in infancy.
The funeral will be held from St. Andrews Presbyterian Church, Montague, Friday afternoon at 2 o'clock. Interment will take place in the Montague cemetery.

..'The regular meeting of Hill- side Lodge. I.O.D.E.. Montague was held on Tuesday night with N. G. Malcolm Macxcnzie presiding. Owing to the heat the attendance was not as large as usual.

Ierence to the grade eleven prizes in Montague school. It was decided that 5500 would be given to the student with the highest standing in each oi the six subjects. The following students are the winners in one or more subjects: Miss Bernice Delorey-2 subjects. Prize 10.00; Ian Scrimgeour-2 sub- jects. Prize 10.00; Miss Shirley Tay- lor-i subject. prize 5.00; Miss Norma Hllchey.-1 subject. Prize 5.00.
The first degree was conferred on two candidates with Brother Wil- liam MacLean acting as degree master. Brothers W. A. I-{ilchey and J. H. MacGregor jointly acting $5 Noble Grand in this degree. It is intended to confer the second de- gree next Tuesday night.
After the lodge closed a delicious lunch was served by the lunch committee.

Representatives from six schools in the district were introduced at roll call. The main feature of the afternoon‘: program was a dis- cussion on lesson preparation led by Rev. J.
