ROAD COMPENSATION ACT. PUBLIC NOTICE.

\‘ llEl’tEAS a writ has been issued to us, under and by virtue

of an Act passed in the fourteenth year of the reign of Her present Majesty Queen Victoria, intituled “ An Act to regulate the laying out and altering of ighw1ys." and of lithe Acts in amend- ment thereof, whereby we are commanded to enquire what damage or advantage will accrue to those persons who are interested in the Land through which a certain New Road is intended to be made, I commencing at the East end of the l'pper Westmerland Road and terminating at John McNally’s. on the Melville Road.

N ow, we do hereby give public notice to all parties concerned, that we will commence the execution of said writ, by attending at the East end of the said Upper Westmorland Read, on the 15th day of June next, at the hour of 11 o‘clock, in the forenoon of the same day, and from thence we will proceed along the said new line of lioad and complete the inquest according to Law.

virtue of the Statute of 24th Victoria, Cap. 25, the following Assessment has been levied, to wit: on all improved Lets two shillings each; on all unimproved Lots six shillings and eight- pcncc each; and on parts of Lots rateably in proportion,—that the same is now due and payable to me within forty days from date.

of Her Majesty’s Supreme Court of Judicature, at the suit of Augustus Edward Crevier Holland and Mary Holland, his wife, against Alexander Cameron; I have taken and seized as the property of the said Alexander Cameron, All his right, title and leasehold interest, in and to Fifty-three Acres of Land, at little more or less, on Township Number 20, in Prince County, together with the buildings thereon; and I do hereby give public notice, that I will, on the 10th day of May, 1866, at the Court House in St. Eleanors, in the said County, at the hour of 12 o’clock, noon, set up and sell by public auction, the above re- cited property, or as much thereof as will satisfy the levy marked on the said writ, being £78183. 7d. currency, together with 17s. for the .said writ, besides Sherilf’s fees and incidental ex- penscs.
