Ata meetinng of the Fire Engine Co., held in Strong's Hall, on ‘Tuesday evening, it was voted that the funds in the hands of the Co, ‘be appropriated for uniform caps. It having appeared that some of the men were disatis- fied at serving without pay, the meeting on motion divided, when it appeared that only six members desired to withdraw at the end of their term. We are glad to see the inter- est manifested by the members to keep up their organization, which would be a credit to any town. An effort to get up a complete uniform for the company should be made, and we feel that our citizens would heartily second such a move.—J’ro.
